Your child’s safety is our first priority. All ExcelKidz volunteers pass a background check. We also have a first responders team made up of licensed professionals along with a full security team to ensure your child’s safety. We use a security tag system for child check-in and pick-up, and a paging system for parents/guardians in case we need to reach you during the worship experience.
As soon as you walk through the doors, there will be people and signage to point you in the right direction. There is a check in station for all age groups where you will register your children or you can pre-register by clicking here. After your child is registered, you will be welcome to take a tour of ExcelKidz to ensure your comfort.
Safety and security are fundamental to our ExcelKidz experience. At ExcelChurch, we use safe systems and procedures to ensure that each child is checked in and accounted for at all times while participating in ExcelKidz. Children are not released without the presentation of a security tag. At check-in, each parent is provided with a security tag which corresponds to the name tag your child will wear during service. If it is necessary to reach the parents during service the number found on your security tag will flashed on the screen in the main service.
ExcelKidz volunteers are highly dedicated and see the opportunity to serve children and families as a privilege. All of our volunteers are Cori checked prior to working with your children. Please contact us at [email protected] if you would like to get involved as an ExcelKidz volunteer.
Every child will experience specially selected music, teaching (both live and or on a big screen) and small group activities, accompanied by several fun games and activities.
ExcelKidz is a ministry within the ministry of ExcelChurch. Dan & Alicia Malboeuf co-direct ExcelKidz. They are responsible for planning, coordination and evaluation of the children and preschoolers program including management of curriculum, lesson activities, crafts, and age appropriate games for free time. They work directly with the lead pastor and his wife regarding the direction and vision of ExcelKidz ministry. Spiritual growth of the children and preschoolers is our primary concern.
The volunteers within ExcelKidz are made up from a collection of both staff and DreamTeam members at ExcelChurch. All of them have been individually selected and properly trained, and have gone through a criminal background check. Each worker has a clear understanding of the large privilege and responsibility of teaching your children.
When you check your child out of ExcelKidz or on your way home, we encourage you to ask your child about what they learned and help them figure out how to apply it during the upcoming week. Check out our Facebook page “excelkidzma” or follow us on twitter to stay up to date on the weekly lessons. You can also find great information on our Facebook page about free resources available to parents. Parent Cues, blogs, and even mobile apps are all resources available to every ExcelKidz parent. There are some great activity suggestions and talking points to help expand on what your child learned in class.
Arrive at least 15 minutes before the beginning of the experience so that you can enjoy the entire experience. Please label your child’s belongings before you arrive (bags, bottles, pacifiers).
If an ExcelKidz DreamTeam Member needs to contact you during the service, you will be notified during the worship experience.
To ensure the health of children and DreamTeam Members, we ask that sick children not attend ExcelKidz.
Safety and security is of utmost importance to us. You must have the security tag with you to pick up your children after the service.
